Global Stewardship

Global stewardship is an important part of global citizenship.  So, if we are to be competent global citizens, we need to be award of how our actions impact our environment.  Carbon offsetting is one way to counter our negative impact on our environment.  My new PEBL is something I'm doing as an individual but, it will take the efforts of everyone including corporations and government to have a significant effect.

House points: For 100 house points, identify a business and what they are doing to offset their carbon footprint.

Fund for Teachers Grant

I love traveling around the world to research other cultures but, it's not free.  I've been very lucky to have received many fellowships to pay for much of my expenses.  This year I was fortunate enough to get funding from Fund for Teachers.  The award was supposed to pay for my program this year but, they have deferred their award to next year.  So, that will go a long way in funding most of my expenses.
So speaking of money, here's a currency question for you to earn some house points.
